| National Weather Service: No East Coast tsunami warning A routine National Weather Service test on Tuesday resulted in a false push notification to mobile phones about a tsunami warning, giving jolt to many residents on the East Coast. A glitch meant some people received what looked like an actual warning, NWS meteorologist Hendricus Lulofs said.

FREDERICA — Lane closures will take place on Del. 1 northbound by Barratts Chapel Road over the next week. Closures will begin at 9 p.m. Friday and continue until 9 p.m. Saturday. In the event of inclement weather, they will take place Sunday.
